Care at home
Domiciliary Care
Flexible, respectful support that helps adults remain safe, comfortable and in control in their own home.
Support to live safely and well at home.
Our domiciliary care is designed around the individual’s assessed needs, routines, preferences and goals. The purpose is not simply to complete tasks, but to support safety, dignity and as much independence as possible.
Support may include
- Personal care such as washing, dressing, grooming and continence support.
- Medication prompting, assistance or administration where assessed and authorised.
- Meal preparation, hydration and support with eating and drinking.
- Mobility, transfers and use of agreed equipment where staff are trained and competent.
- Support with daily routines, light household tasks and maintaining a safe environment.
- Companionship, appointments and community access where included in the care plan.
How care starts
We begin with an assessment to understand the person’s needs, preferences, capacity, risks, existing support and desired outcomes. If we can safely meet those needs, we agree a person-centred care plan before care begins. Where needs fall outside our competence or registration, we will say so clearly and help identify an appropriate next step where possible.
Review and continuity
Care plans are reviewed when needs change and at planned intervals. We aim for consistent staffing, clear handovers and good communication with the person and, where appropriate, their family or professionals.
Regulated care
Personal care is delivered within NCRYSTAL Health Ltd’s current Care Quality Commission registration and by staff who have completed the checks, training and competency requirements appropriate to their role.
